Michigan Day 7--Mackinac Island

Today was a fun trip out to Mackinac (pronouced Mackinaw) Island by way of a ferry!  It's pretty crazy to ride it on such a large lake.  The ride was probably 20 minutes long or so, and you just get further and further from land!

Once you're there, though, it's tourist central!  TONS of little shops for shirts and hats, and strangely enough, tons of fudge shops, which the island is known for.  We certainly availed ourselves of plenty!  We bought a bunch, then went to a different shop, and found other flavors!

I love being with Jon every day here.  We get to spend every moment together and I enjoy being in love and loved by this man!

On this little island there were many beautiful spots.  Arch Rock, aptly named, was one of them.

Later this afternoon we took the ferry back over and headed home.  With plenty of fudge and candy!
