Yesterday at Costco they were selling whole salmon, and we JUMPED on that to cut into our own salmons steaks!  We haven't seen steaks since we bought some at Sprout's a long time ago, and we are super excited.

They were already gutted and without heads, so all that was left was to cut them into thick steaks.

Vacuum seal the lot of them, and we now have exactly what we want in our own freezer.

This afternoon we headed to Jordanelle Reservoir to have some dinner and play in the reservoir with Jon's family.  We brought up all the things.  Zada played in her porta crib, which saved us from dealing with the sand.

We put up our easy-up, but the wind started getting crazy.  Crazy enough that it picked up the easy-up and started blowing it away!

We hurried and took it down, and hoped the little bit of weather would pass quickly.  It did, and the picnic table near us, although reserved, had no one at it, so we moved on in.

The girls were super excited to get on their floaties again.

And Zada got to watch the waves and dip her toes in.

We were unwilling to let her play in it because of all the stuff in lake water.

The girls had a great time playing with Jon, Jordan, and Clayton in the water.

We were happy to watch from the sidelines, perched on the rocks.

The funniest story of the day was Zada's missing binky.  I figured we had dropped it in the grass or the sand somewhere, and it was lost forever.  But when I noticed her diaper was wet, I went to change her and it was IN HER DIAPER!  I don't even know how this was possible because she was wearing a onesie and shorts!  We all had a really good laugh at that, and the girls thought it was hilarious.
