Holy smokes it's August!  Time to turn the calendar!  Sweet little Meemer loves school!

First thing this morning Leiden left for girls' camp.  They aren't actually even camping, they are going to cabins up in Heber for only 2 days.  I was a little disappointed to hear this, and I'm not sure if it's because the YW president hates camping, or if this was a group decision or what.  What happened to tents in campgrounds with rivers and outhouses??  Regardless, I hope she has a great time!

We had decided to walk over to the church with our wagon, so the walk home was leisurely.  Mimi had earned the money to buy a butterfly net at her dad's house, and she was thrilled to see the little white moths flying around.  She took off after them on the church grass on the walk home.

The girls are continuing with their painting endeavors.  Mimi did some deep ocean sting rays, which was fun.  They were hard to capture with the camera, you could see them more clearly in person.

And hamburgers, because they are delicious.

She added some jellyfish to her ocean theme, this time in much more shallow waters!  I'm glad they are enjoying a creative activity so much.

Zada's favorite thing to do while eating is putting her hands in her hair.  SO messy!
