December 10--Gingerbread Cookies

This girl has got some great hair.  It's the longest of the girls, now, and while it is always liberally sprinkled with food, it's very pretty.  Mimi was playing with one of our hex bugs today, watching it zip around, but becoming very timid when it got stuck.  She was not about to touch it.  She would come and get Brad or I to coax it out of its trap.

Later this afternoon, a little friend came by--our friends' baby, Marianna.  Mimi thought it was totally awesome to have a little crawling baby around, and they crawled on the floor together for some time.  Marianna eventually ended up by the tree, checking out the ornaments and lights.  Mimi evidently did not get as much food in her tummy as she did on her face!

I had cleaned off her face by now, but I'm not sure what caused this look.

This is a sweet one of Mac while mixing up Gingerbread dough.  The girls are doing well at measuring ingredients and pouring them into the bowl.  Mac likes to crack the eggs.
