Hopscotch

One of the activities on our Summer chart is hopscotch.  I LOVED that game as an elementary student.  My friends and I would run out to grab one of the boards with our hoppy taws and we would play away our two recesses.  (We were lucky to have two.)

I need to buy a couple hoppy taws--where?  so I can show Leiden how it's really played, but she and Mac had fun just counting up the 20 hopscotch tiles she had drawn.

 

Mimi hung out in the doorway and kept trying to draw all over the hopscotch board, which caused crying and chaos.
