Let There Be Light!

This is our rather cave-like living room, which is dark and...woody.

But today that changed!  We had windows put in that completely change the room.  There is light, there, which makes it look so different.  The guy who did it is a friend from a different ward, here, and he and his helper came and knocked out (literally) these windows.  They are south facing, so it's really a prime spot for windows, anyway.  Only a matter of cutting them out of a load bearing outside wall, framing them in, and installing custom sized windows.  All in a day's work for these guys!  I am so thrilled at how they turned out!
