Field Trip!

It's the First Grade walking field trip this morning!  We are headed to the Fire Department, where they will show us a fire truck and an ambulance!  The girls I am in charge of are pretty cute!

After a bit of a trek up there, the kids were excited to see the big vehicles.  Mac's group got to see the fire truck first, which ended up being lucky, as the guys had to leave on an emergency call while the second group was getting their tour!  These vehicles are so cool.

The ambulance was cool, too.  They are pretty high tech, these days, with beds that are electrically lowered and raised to and from the bed of the truck.  The kids got a kick out of that.  I ended up having to leave early to meet a repairman, but Mac had a great time, and it was fun to spend time with her and her friends.

Tonight was mummy dogs for dinner!  Another tradition I enjoy for Halloween.  And an awesome photo bomb by Mac.  She has been thinking that was pretty funny, lately.
