Back home, now. I got home last night around 11 PM. Yesterday was rough. Like rougher than I thought. I was super excited to get back to these munchkins, but I can't believe I won't see Derek for months and months. I miss him greatly already, but we had a fabulous time...have had every time we've been together. We have some wonderful memories, and we will likely be able to stay in touch quite nicely. It won't be the same, and part of me is across the world, but we will make it through this. So now begins deployment, as far as I'm concerned. Here we go!
The girls liked their treats from Germany. They also got some pretty little ceramic bowls, kinder eggs, and other little Easter candies. I think they were happy to see me back.
