It's Time

So, today was the big day.  Derek got all his gear together and left Germany for the Middle East.  He will be in Qatar for a time, and then move on from there.  I am feeling like we need to just get a move on this, so I'm glad it's finally upon us.  This should be interesting.  I already miss him terribly...and now everything will change again, with a larger time zone difference,  more responsibilities on the ground, and likely less communication.  Here we go!

I'm trying to get back into the real habit of studying the scriptures every day.  Tonight it seemed to work well to just spread all out on my bed and get it done.  I will likely find a lot of solace in these books over the next bunch of months.
