December 1

We found an elf on our hearth on December 1. She is straight from the North Pole, and the girls have named her Snowbell. Snowbell is a special helper elf for Santa who will report back to him whether the girls have been naughty or nice.



I think she's pretty cute, with her festive little dress and stringy hair.

She even has curled elf toes.

And red holly berries.

She'll come every Christmastime for Santa's report, so she's practically a member of the family now. Welcome Snowbell!

December 1 also marked the beginning of the advent calendar!

Today's activity:

I made this several years ago...I think 3 years ago. It needs an upgrade, but it does the trick. All the scriptures (obviously) talk about Jesus Christ, and every day during December we read a scripture and place one puzzle piece on the stable, baby Jesus last.
