We decided we would go caroling this year, and our friends set up dinner before and then caroling at a rest home. The girls were excited to read the slip in the morning.



Then about 10 minutes after that, Leiden was climbing over the back kitchen chairs (which she has been told not to do repeatedly. She slipped and hit her knee, which she started crying about immediately, pretty hard. Brad lifted her off the chair and we saw there was blood in her mouth. Brad took her into the bathroom and there was blood everywhere. I've never seen that much blood come out of someone's mouth. It was a little scary. It took a few minutes to get her cleaned up enough that we could even see what was going on. We determined all the teeth were sound, and found a giant gash on the inside of her lip and a tiny little cut on the outside. It made no sense until we figured out that her tooth had just punched right through her lip. *Sigh* She did fine, and the nurse told us to just keep her home and ice it, so we did. She had a very quiet day with movies, popsicles, and a fat lip.



This was the only picture I got while caroling. Mac was very intently velcro-ing and un-velcro-ing the bell bracelet she had.



Miriam 12/4/10: Mimi was super tired, and Brad almost had her asleep several times while we sang, but she really resists sleeping if she's not in her bed.
