Oviparous Animals

Have you ever heard of Oviparous animals? They are animals that lay eggs. That's what Leiden learned about in school this last week. She brought home this cute little booklet about them.

She learned that there are reptiles and insects that are oviparous.
They include crocodiles with awesome teeth and butterflies.
There are also birds and mammals that are Oviparous.
They include the cardinal and the duck billed platypus. Wow.
Mac had been drawing today, too, and wanted me to take her picture. She calls this writing.
