Random Playing and Walking

By yesterday evening, everyone had perked up a bit, even Leiden! She was running a slight fever yesterday, but it's a bit lower, and she seems to have a bit more energy. Mac was up and at them, with a bit of a tummy ache from the stress. Brad dragged Mimi and Mac around for a few minutes last night.



This morning we took Mac to the doctor for her 3 year well child visit. She is doing great--measuring in the 75th percentile for both height and weight, at 32.5 lbs. and 38 inches. If you recall, last month Mimi weighed 26.5 lbs and measured 33 inches. Mac just doesn't have that much on her!

Speaking of the Meems, this is her scampering away when I've got the camera out trying to take a picture. She zoomed over to the computer chair.



Stood up there,



and then ramdomly let go and started walking towards me! No provocation--just let go and went! She looks awfully proud of herself.



No lurching this time, just measured, balanced steps. And she's coming at me really fast!



So fast that the camera can't keep up with her speed to stay focused, and I have to quickly set it down to catch her anyway!
