Towers of Power

Mimi has been very interested in her little alphabet blocks lately. She loves it when I grab a handful and put them on the floor. She'll grab them one at a time and put them back in their bucket. She's all about taking things out and putting them back in.



If I model building a tower, she'll grab blocks of her own and put them together. Today was the most successful, yet, building several towers of three blocks each. Here's a two-block tower.



Here's the three. I should have taken a picture afterward, but it held. She even tried to put a 4th block up, and that's when it fell. That's a skill for 16-17 month olds, by the way. Of course, she isn't walking or talking, yet. Oh well.
