Hello, August!

Diving Board Day!  I never know quite what I'm going to get on Diving board day!  Mac loves the high dive.  She spends her time just jumping in, swimming to the edge, and then doing it over again!

And Mimi.  My goodness.  She was reminded not to do flips on the high dive, so chose to do one off the regular board.

You really must click on this picture to enlarge, and check out the life guard in the water...her face is classic!  I don't think she expected what Mimi did.

The next time she hopped up, she advanced to the end of the board and turned backwards.  Her teacher approached her to see what she was doing.

Then she launched herself off the board.  A back flip.

She didn't rotate QUITE far enough, but it was an admirable attempt!  She is a very confident diver!

And secondly, it's August!  Woohoo!

The girls were jealous of my watermelon, so they got some, too.

Mac didn't want any, so she didn't get in the picture, either.
